China Council for the Promotion of International TradeSince its establishment in 1952, based in China and facing the world, it has played an important role in tightening the interests of Chinese and foreign enterprises, promoting international economic and trade exchanges, and promoting the development of state-to-state relations。Ccpit has always taken serving Chinese and foreign enterprises as its foundation，Promote trade and investment，Promote institutional opening，Actively explore and innovate in international economic and trade arbitration, intellectual property services, commercial mediation and other fields，We will strengthen communication and contacts with the business communities of other countries，To serve as a bridge for Sino-foreign economic and trade cooperation，We will work actively to make economic globalization more open, inclusive, balanced and beneficial to all。The 70-year history of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT) is an important reflection of China's continuous opening up, and an important witness to the sharing of development opportunities and mutual benefit of enterprises from all countries。

It is hoped that CCPIT will continue to forge ahead, pursue excellence, build a network of service enterprises, expand its circle of international friends, and make continuous efforts to achieve greater achievements in promoting high-quality development, building a new development pattern, and promoting the building of an open world economy。

At present, the century-old changes are intertwined with the century-old epidemic, economic globalization is facing a countercurrent, and the world has entered a new period of turbulence and change。The business communities of all countries have a greater desire for peaceful development, a stronger call for fairness and justice, and a greater urgency to pursue win-win cooperation。I would like to proposeFour points of advice。

First, unite to defeat the epidemic。At present, the COVID-19 epidemic has repeatedly delayed and accelerated its spread, posing a serious threat to people's life and health and having a serious impact on world economic development。We should put people and lives first, actively carry out international cooperation in vaccine research and development, production and distribution, strengthen global public health governance, build multiple defenses against the epidemic, and promote the building of a community of human health。

Second, revitalize trade and investment。It is important to balance epidemic prevention and control with economic development, strengthen macroeconomic policy coordination among countries, and push the world economy out of the shadow of the crisis at an early date。China has put forward the global development initiative and called on all parties to make joint efforts to comprehensively advance the UN2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development。We should change the driving force, model and structure of the world economy to put it on the track of long-term, sound and stable development。We should support the multilateral trading system with the WTO at its core, maintain the security and stability of global industrial and supply chains, and make the pie of cooperation bigger so that the fruits of development will benefit people of all countries。

Third, we need to be innovation-driven。We should tap the growth potential of innovation, jointly strengthen intellectual property protection, formulate rules on the basis of full participation and consensus, and create an open, fair, just and non-discriminatory environment for scientific and technological development。We need to deepen exchanges and cooperation in innovation, promote the deep integration of science and technology with the economy, enhance the sharing of innovation results, and strive to break down barriers that restrict the flow of knowledge, technology, human resources and other innovation factors, so as to fully generate new sources of innovation。

Fourth, improve global governance。In today's world, the future and destiny of all countries are closely linked"Small circles" will only push the world toward division and confrontation。We should uphold genuine multilateralism, follow the concept of extensive consultation, joint contribution and shared benefits in global governance, mobilize global resources, address global challenges and promote global development。It is important to pursue dialogue rather than confrontation, to tear down walls rather than build them, to integrate rather than decouple, to be inclusive rather than exclusive, and to lead the reform of the global governance system in the spirit of fairness and justice。

I would like to reiterate that China's resolve to open up at a higher level will not change, and China's door to the outside world will only open wider。China will continue to foster a market-oriented and law-based international business environment, implement the Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership at a high level, and promote high-quality joint constructionThe Belt and Road Initiative provides more market, investment and growth opportunities for the global business community。
